New nuggets from mining

Postby ROB19700 » Dec 22, 2006 (6:23 pm)

From your best estimates, it looks like a small nugget of solid platinum is some miscellaneous object.
It appears that you can use this item to craft with.
It doesn't look like it's worth much.

From your best estimates, it looks like a small nugget of solid platinum is treasure.
You think you could sell this to a jeweler.
You are certain that it is worth exactly 15 gold pieces.
You show your nugget to the jeweler. He glances it over and says, "This looks to be worth around 180 gold."

First one is from mining, second one is a gem.
But they all go in same stack in backpack.
Can't sell the ones from mining. so it gets confusing.

So are we going to be able to use all them in Forge someday?
Or should I just dump them all off?

I'll go through the process of making the ones that are harvestable differ slightly from the ones that aren't, so they will be easier to determine in one's packs. While the ones found in the treasure system are valuable, we've made sure the ones you harvest are not (or else it would be ridiculously easy to earn money). Consider the harvested ones of particularly crude quality that need heavy refinement (crafting system) before they're of any particular value.
