Sounds exciting and deliciously complex.

I gotta say, I didn't quite get the mechanics skillset concept, but I'll catch on someday. It does make logical sense though.

Now, as the little Avian Necromancer is my main character, I do have to notice that melee combat for a Necro (and all magic users) will become more difficult. Conceptually, I'm in total agreement, makes no sense to have a Necro swinging like a Barb, but I do foresee more deaths in her future.

Unless, of course, some of the other Necro and Avian aspects are released or fixed... <sooooo not whining, nope, not me, uh uh>

That's how it's going to be for a Necromancer, but your spells will (or should in the rewrite) make up for it.
