Alternatively titled, "Comcast Sucks".
I have a tech scheduled to come out Monday morning to check the lines and likely swap out the UBR (cable modem/router). We've had probably four different UBR's in the last year, and completely new lines have been run out here, but problems still raise their ugly head from time to time. Lately (past 24-48 hours) players get randomly dropped en masse. While they can log back in quickly, it's still annoying and I'm pressing Comcast on the matter.
We've also had a problem wherein the UBR loses its configuration which only Comcast can correct, and this has caused two downtimes of several hours in the past 30 days. I am hoping new equipment will also correct this problem.
