well met Koaru, names Ty, Residant Village Idiot, locksmithe, gemcutta, and operator of tha massive huge black sparklie tha sits at tha place most know as sts.

as ive learned gem cuttin isa task of paitence an determination. both of these i have plenty of, but im also learnin tha many do nae..so yeh have been added ta me list and soon as we git some othas ta pipe up ill begin ta let everyone know whas on me mind...in tha mean time id also like ta hear from those tha werk alchemy as well, mayhaps there be more of yeh than of those tha cut gems...

Can anyone tell how many ranks does it take to cut rubys successfully? :?

I think rubies were in the neighborhood of 50 to 60 ranks, if I'm remembering correctly.

I've been slowly working on both gem cutting and alchemy. They both are amazing potiential, but seem to be lacking a bit. And of course they are both painfully slow to learn.
